Dorothy's Red Shoes

I stole Dorothy's red shoes
When dancing one night.
They were left on the doorstep -
I thought it alright.

The shoes took me yonder,
Catching many an eye
Of owners with dull shoes
Who sadly walked by.

The long road it led us
To visit the sea.
We tickled the waves and
They laughed cheekily.

Our travels they took us
From North, East and West,
'Till the shoes cried out wearily
"To home now and rest".
